Stacking the Shelves #44

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

I once again came away with more books than I originally thought I would. I am super excited about the library book I picked up today, because it continues a series I’ve been reading for the past several years, and is the penultimate book; I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next. I also bought a hardcopy of a book I’d previously read as an e-galley, but loved so much I had to add it to my shelves.

E-books/E-Galleys:

Thank you to Harlequin Teen UK for the e-galley! I swore myself off of NetGalley until I’ve read most of my curent e-galleys, but I couldn’t NOT request this one. It’s probably my most anticipated debut of the year.

I also was lucky enough to receive a copy of The Mapmaker and the Ghost by Sarvenaz Tash, along with some awesome swag and a teacher’s guide, to share with my students. I’ve been curious about the book for a while, and am excited to add it to my library’s collection.

    cheers

  7. I started reading Need but never finished it, the story was too dull for me. I need to read Dark Triumph! I read an excerpt but now I’m dying to read the rest.

Thank you for stopping by my post! :)

  8. Quinn says:

I need to take a step back fomr Netgalley too! I am devoting the next few books I read to egalleys. It’s ridiculous how many I have that I haven’t gotten to yet. I’m reading The Collector now, and then I think I’ll read Walking Disaster. I should be able to breeze through them pretty quickly.

I’m very curious about Nameless. I’ve not read anything by Lili St. Crow.

Hope you enjoy all your books. Happy reading :)

  9. I cant wait to dive into Dark Triumph! I’ve had my eye on Bittersweet for awhile! I really should pick that one up since it’s on sale for Kindle! Thanks so much for sharing and for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your haul. Have a great weekend!

  10. I’ve been on a bit of a streak reading historical fiction lately, so this would probably be a good time to dive into my copy of Grave Mercy. I am so bad about buying books then leaving them unread on my shelves. And Bittersweet looks really good- I’ve seen a lot of praise for Sarah Ockler’s books. I hope you enjoy all of these, Merin!

  11. Gabbie says:

You have some great books on you hands-nice haul! Hope you enjoy! And trust me, I’ve told myself I wasn’t going to request some books on Netgalley. But If there’s this book you just HAVE to rread…well…you have to request it!
