Follow Friday #3

To join in the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

*(Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee and Alison Can Read}
*(Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
*Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky Thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
*Grab the button and place it in a post; this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
*Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just  follow: comment and say hi! Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”.
*If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love … and the followers.

Question: Birthday Wishes — Blow out the candles and imagine what character could pop out of your cake. Who is it, and what book are they from?

This one is easy. Considering that the very first book series I absolutely fell in love with was Harry Potter, it would indeed be Harry that I would love to meet. He could magically help me blow out all my candles! And I wouldn’t complain if he were to bring his friends along with him. :)

Another person I’d love to meet would be Lucy Pevensie, from the Chronicles of Narnia books. Lucy is such a cheerful, loving, generous person. I would love to get her exact account of what it was like to stumble into a magical world through the back of a wardrobe. And I wouldn’t complain if she were to bring her brother Edmund along with her, because I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for him.

If you’re interested in following me, you can use any method you’d like, although I’m partial to Linky Followers. If you have a WordPress blog, however, please use the little “follow” link in the upper left-hand corner! I’m getting ready to head out to the Cardinals baseball game (where I will no doubt die of heat stroke in the stands, seeing as it’s over 100* outside), but will follow everyone back once I get home. :)

  2. It was so long ago I read the Narnia books, I can hardly remember who Lucy is. And I haven’t read HP. If you want to know my choice, I invite you to my FF post so you can find out.

    I’m a new Linky follower. Have a great weekend!

  3. It would be quite awesome to have Harry Potter burst out of your birthday cake. Lucy as well – I imagine she would have a lot of fun with it. You have a lovely blog – I am a new follower via Linky! My FF Post

    Harry, smart answer. I actually hadn’t thought of him.
    My FF;

  5. Great response. Would love to meet Harry and all of his friends. During high school I was in a play based on Lion the Witch in the Wardrobe at the community theater. I loved the book already but have even more fond memories now.

    My follow friday. Hope you visit!

Thanks for visiting! I love receiving comments and do my best to respond to all of them. However, due to time constraints, this blog is now an award and tag free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but just don't have the time to pass them on.
