Stacking the Shelves #14

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

I’m a little later than usual in making my StS post for this week, but I’ve been dealing with a troublesome laptop today that finally necessitated going in to Best Buy to have Geek Squad take a look at it. The guy got it so it can connect to the internet, but I’m going to have to do a file backup and then restore it to factory settings because it just isn’t running right. I will most likely wind up having to purchase a new laptop, which is not necessarily a bad thing because I have had this one for several years now. Anyway, if I’m sort of absent this next week, that’s why!

Moving along, here’s what I added to my shelves this week.

Purchased:

  • Croak by Gina Damico (e-book, on sale for $1.99 from Amazon)
  • Hide & Seek by Katy Grant (I actually bought two copies of this for my school library, as I forgot to add it to the book order)
  • The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer

For Review:

  • The Dark Unwinding by Sharon Cameron (a surprise from Scholastic! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ♥)

I also purchased the 3-disc DVD version of The Hunger Games from Target, AND received my new medical card in the mail! I’ve been without health insurance for over five years, so this was particularly exciting. :)

So what did you get this week? Please link me!

Thanks for following! It’s hard enough to find time to get all my posts up with my new job, and the computer problems just make it even worse.

Happy reading, you’ve got some great books to choose from.

Thanks for visiting! I love receiving comments and do my best to respond to all of them. However, due to time constraints, this blog is now an award and tag free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but just don't have the time to pass them on.
