An FYI-type update first: Even though my reviews have been almost nonexistent of late, know that I AM currently working my way (albeit very slowly) through a couple of books, and will hopefully have reviews for both of them up within the next few days. I’m also participating in a couple of blog tours, both of which are making stops at my blog this week! So there WILL be some new content soon! My new job is really kicking my butt; I go in early and get home late, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for reading, unfortunately, and because of it, my review writing is suffering. Please bear with me! I hope to get back into the swing of things soon.
Now, here are a couple of housekeeping things!
FIRST: If you are an RSS subscriber, I have moved my feed over to Feed Cat. This is due to the recent information regarding the demise of Feedburner, which is the service that I (and thousands of others) was using. I don’t know if it really is coming to an end, but I wanted to be proactive and make the switch well beforehand just in case it does indeed come to pass. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a smooth way to transition my current RSS readers over to Feed Cat; you’re going to have to resubscribe manually. I apologize for this! So, if you are currently following me via RSS, please either jump on over to my blog and click the RSS button on the right-hand sidebar OR click HERE for the direct link to the feed and subscribe that way. Again, I apologize for all of this! Please let me know if you have any problems.
SECOND: I have a new blog button! If you previously took my button and are displaying it on your blog, I’d love you forever if you could go ahead and take the new one. It matches my new color scheme and is really pretty, and I’d much prefer you display Giselle’s work than the shoddy one I put together on my own. :-P (Speaking of Giselle, if you’re looking for some blog design work, definitely check her out! She did my new meme banners, email signature banner, and the blog button for a very reasonable price.) You can take the entire code for my button from my righthand sidebar, or grab the image itself HERE. Let me know if you take it!
