Stacking the Shelves #21

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

It was a fairly small week for me this week, which is a-okay with me! I’ve been trying to get caught up on my review pile, so it’s always better when I don’t add even more to my to-read list.

I also bought some sentence strips to use with my students, which I’m sure is the most exciting purchase you’ve ever seen. :D

Sentence strips are just strips of paper with a dotted line down the center, which you write sentences on to display for your students. Teachers use them in pocket charts, but I’m using mine to write nursery rhymes on, which I’m laminating and posting in the hallway. If you look at the link, you can get a general idea of what they look like.

  3. I am reading Crewel as well! Looking forward to your review :)

  4. In a glass grimmly! Ohhh, lucky you. I really want to read it, because I loved the first book. Happy reading! :)

  5. Great books this week! I love the cover of Crewel and really want to read it; I hope that my library acquires a copy soon. Enjoy all of your books, and thanks for stopping by!
