Top Ten Favorite Fantasy Characters

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of the bloggers there at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!

So it’s been over a month since I’ve done a Top Ten Tuesday post! Oops! Nonetheless, I liked this topic (even if I had to think on it for a bit), so wanted to join in the fun. Below is my Top Ten Favorite Characters in the Fantasy Genre. (Please note that I use the term “fantasy” a bit more loosely than others, but I do think all of these fit.)

1) Harry Potter, from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

2) Percy Jackson, from the Percy Jackson & the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan

3) Lyra Belacqua, from the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman

4) Sophie, from Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

5) Edmund Pevensie, from The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis

6) Samwise Gamgee, from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

7) The Darkling, from Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo

8) Lex Bartleby, from the Croak series by Gina Damico

9) Abby, from Ordinary Magic by Caitlen Rubino-Bradway

10) Finn Whitman, from the Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson

So those are my choices this week! Questions? Comments? I could go on and on about why I love these characters but figured no one really wanted to read an enormously long post, so I simply posted names. Still, I’ll be happy to elaborate if you want me to!

What characters and genre did you chose? Please link me!

Thanks for visiting! I love receiving comments and do my best to respond to all of them. However, due to time constraints, this blog is now an award and tag free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but just don't have the time to pass them on.
