It’s National Library Week!
In celebration, make sure you go and pay a visit to your local public (or school!) library this week! I’m dropping by my local branch later today to pick up a bunch of books for my students to look at this week (including several new releases that I haven’t been able to purchase for my school), and plan on reading a library pick this week to celebrate the occasion (the newest Kingdom Keepers book, in case you’re curious).
My second graders are going to play a game of musical books this week in order to experience some of the Caldecott winners, and my fifth graders are going to do mini-book reports on their favorite book of all time, which I’m going to share on the bulletin board in the hallway.

Yay for libraries! I picked up a bunch of audiobooks recently & I’m sure I’ll be back again soon :) Sounds like you have some great activities planned for your students!
