It’s been a really long time since I’ve done one of these, but I figured I’d get back into the swing of it this week. :)
QUESTION: If you could hang out with any author (living) who would it be and what would you want to do?
Ooh, great question! I actually would LOVE to get a chance to hang out with Rick Riordan, who is easily my favorite author at this time. I adore his Mythology-themed books! I would love for us to visit Rome, so I could see all of the places and not-so-touristy stops that the characters see and visit in his latest book, The Mark of Athena. Or we could just go to New York City and see Percy’s world, and visit the candy shop where Percy’s mom worked. And maybe, just MAYBE, I could pry some secrets out of him about the next Heroes of Olympus book, too!
HOW TO FOLLOW ME: If you’re a new follower, do think about following me via RSS, email, or Bloglovin’ (all options are located in the sidebar over there —>). If you’re a WordPress user, you can also use the little “follow” link in the upper left-hand corner! This will allow my updates to show in your WordPress reader. And make sure you leave a comment so I can follow you back!

Happy follow friday!
I bet Rick Riordan would be such a fun guy to hang out with. I mean, he just seems like he would have a great time.
He seems very down to earth and the way he writes humor (Percy is hysterically funny), he clearly has a sense of humor himself. :)
A good choice.

Yes! Would love to hang out with Rick Riordan, especially if we got to travel to all the places he features in his books!

I have not read any of his books, but they are on my BR list :D I picked J.K. Rowling! I would love to get to spend a day with her and pick her brain apart about all the Harry Potter details that never made it into the books :)

Is it bad I have never read one of his books?! I know, they’re so popular! But I feel like most of it is too MG for me. But wait, why do I have that impression when I haven’t even tried reading one of his books? I really should check it out. Fail.
Old follower via WordPress and Bloglovin :)
The first few Percy Jackson & the Olympians books are very much MG, but they get progressively more dark and mature as the series progresses. The sequel series, The Heroes of Olympus, is decidedly YA. Definitely do give them a read! Percy is probably my all-time favorite fictional character. :)
Oooo visiting Rome! That would be fun!! Great Choice! I am a new follower via bloglovin :)
