Okay, let me preface this by saying that I don’t want to be Lyra OR Will, because Jesus Christ my heart. What I DO wish I could do was live in the world of these books, because I just adore the thought of having my very own dæmon to share my life with. I mean, can you just imagine how awesome it would be to have an animal companion with you all the time? Unless you were a witch, of course, since their dæmons are able to pretty much come and go as they please. But still. An animal companion who loves them unconditionally and is always there for me no matter what choices I make or don’t make? Sign me up. ♥
