Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of the bloggers there at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday post asks us to list the Top Ten Books on My Fall TBR List. Usually I would list ten upcoming releases that I’m particularly excited about, but because I’m really trying to read my own books a bit more than I usually do, I decided to split this week’s list into five Fall releases I’m particularly excited about, and five books I already own that I’d like to get to. So here we go!
1) Mortal Heart (His Fair Assassin #3) by Robin LaFevers
2) The Fall by Bethany Griffin
3) The Blood of Olympus (Heroes of Olympus #5) by Rick Riordan
4) Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
5) Invisible (The Twixt #2) by Dawn Metcalf
6) Cress (Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer
7) Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
8) Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas
9) Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
10) Strands of Bronze and Gold by Jane Nickerson
So that’s my list this week! What books did you include on yours? Please link me!
Oh! I forgot about The Blood of Olympus while making my list! Thanks for reminding me that it comes out soon! Also Crown of Midnight is great, and Heir of Fire is amazing as well.
Great List!
I’m so excited to read The Fall! I love Poe and love that it’s a retellings of sorts! Great list with lots of books I also want to read!
This looks like a great collection of fall books! I definitely support your plan to read Crown of Midnight. I need to join you in reading Cress too. Happy fall reading!
The fall definitely, and Anna dressed in blood is really good, a must for halloween
Oh so many good books! I’m most excited for The Blood Of Olympus…because Percy. =) Also I highly recommend Anna Dressed In Blood, it’s epic and as others have mentioned perfect for Halloween!
Great list.
I absolutely loved Cress. The series just gets better and better. I hope you enjoy the books on your TBR list!
Omg two weeks until Blood of Olympus!!! *faints* I’m so not ready!
What a great list, and someof those books could have been on my list too – Cress, Miss Peregrine, and I MUST read Throne of Glass. I really like the look of the first two on the list as well, so might have to check them out some time :)
OMG CRESS IS AMAZING. I’m so excited for you to read this because AHHHH. Feels. So. Many. Feels
Mortal heart was the perfect conclusion! Crown of midnight is epic. I LOVED Cress. You have some great books waiting for you! Happy reading.

Cress, Cress, Cress. ;)
Yes to all of these! Finally started Miss Peregrine’s not too long ago and it’s everything I thought and more!
Anna Dressed in Blood is certainly seasonally-appropriate. And if you’re wary of books being too scary (like I am), it’s not bad at all. I really enjoyed Cress. And I’m going to try to read Crown of Midnight and Strands of Bronze and Gold (yay fairy-tale retellings) soon myself. Hope you get lots of reading done this fall!
Crown of Midnight is on my list as well, I really need to read that one! I also have to get back to Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I started it earlier this year, but got distracted by library books. I am so bad about reading what I own.
MORTAL HEART is so good. Enjoy it!!!! And THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS, yeeeeeeeeeeeees. I am so pumped! I’m re-reading these now! Oh, CRESS, enjoy!!! And CROWN OF MIDNIGHT!!! Love Maas. Each book breaks new barriers. You’re so lucky. You don’t have to wait a year for HEIR! I enjoyed STRANDS OF BRONZE AND GOLD and still have its sequel on my TBR. Good choices!
Blood of Olympus and Black Ice are both on my TTT, too. I’m so excited to read those two, particularly The Blood of Olympus. I need more Percy Jackson in my life!
Cress is soooo good!!! I think you will really like it, Merin.
I am so excited for Mortal heart!!! It looks so good <3 Enjoy Crown of Midnight, it's AMAZING!!
