Stacking the Shelves #29

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

I wasn’t even sure I’d make a post this week, since I had only purchased one lone e-book. But then some of my library requests came in, and I bought a book today at Barnes & Noble (needed to stop in and get some giftcards for Christmas presents), so I did get wind up getting some titles I wanted to share.

I also want to give a shout-out to my Book Blogger Holiday Card Exchange partners! It was a fun week of mail this week, as the cards came in to me, and they definitely brightened up my day. :)

In other news, I’m now on Winter Break! I’m looking forward to two weeks off from work – I can DEFINITELY use the break! – and am going to devote myself to reading in that time, as I need to read nine books between now and the end of the year to meet my Goodreads goal of 100 books in 2012. I’m like the Little Engine That Could: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

REMINDER: Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for one Kindle copy of the Grimm Diaries Prequel Pack by Cameron Jace! It’s international and ends 12/28!

So what did you get this week? Please link me!

I really need to read Legend. I hear it is amazing, and I bought a copy at a warehouse sale. Now I just need to sit myself down and read it. If only there were more hours in the day.

Have a nice break and happy reading :)

Awesome haul this week! Legend is really good. I loved how it was more of an adventure dystopian more than anything else. :)
