Stacking the Shelves #36

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

This was a good week, although once again I came away with too many library books (and just got a notice that ANOTHER of my requests came in). I also picked up a couple Kindle books, received a couple of arcs in the mail, and was super excited to get an invite for an e-galley I want to read SO badly that I may not be able to wait until closer to its release.

  1. I recently added 17 & Gone to my TBR; I’ve been seeing great reviews of that one. Seeing Dark Triumph reminds me that I really need to pick up my copy of Grave Mercy that I’ve had for ages. I hope you enjoy all of your books, Merin!

  2. Nafiza says:

I’m realllly curious about 17 & Gone so I will look forward to your review. And Breadcrumbs is so adorable though I think reading a physical copy may be better for that one. Oh and The False Prince is pretty darned awesome too! Enjoy your books!

    • Merin says:

My library has Breadcrumbs and I’ve looked at it every time I’ve gone in. I’ll probably still go that route, but the price ($1.99) was too good to pass up. :)

  3. Yay for Just One Day! :) I need to find time to read it and I’ve been wanting to check out Pivot Point for the longest!

The False Prince was sooo good! Oh, and I just went to Ally Carter’s booksigning and got all her Heist Society books signed! You’ll love those books if you haven’t already read them. They’re like Ocean’s 11, but for teens. I’m really excited to read Pivot Point as well. I’ve heard really great things! Happy reading!

    • Merin says:

She’s coming here, too. I haven’t read anything by her aside from the first two Gallagher Girls books, so wanted to at least read Heist Society before I go to see her. I’m going with a friend. :)

  6. Wow! So many great books. I hope you enjoy reading all of them.

Heist Society is pretty fun. It isn’t a favorite of mine, and I never rushed out to read the other books in the series, but I liked it.

I have been wanting to read The False Prince for awhile now, but just haven’t managed to get to it yet.

Anyway, enjoy your goodies. Happy reading :)

  8. Oohh!! Heist Society! I really want to start that series… I’m loving contemporary right now and it sounds like such a fun read. I also really want to read Just One Day… I’ve heard so many good things about it. There is too many books, and too little time :( I hope you enjoy everything!!
